Cockroaches - German & Oriental

The most dangerous insect species to be found in our homes. One of the oldest species on earth, cockroaches are found almost everywhere. They can contribute to the cause of gastroenteritis, salmonella and many more infections or even allergic re-actions in some people. The most common species in Britain are German and Oriental Cockroaches. A female adult cockroach can live for over a year and may produce up to 150 offspring.

In cooler climates, such as the UK, cockroaches will normally be found in warm human habitats where there is a constant food supply, kitchens being an obvious favourite. They eat almost anything, including cardboard.
